Advanced Mentoring Workshop

As organizations and businesses grow, their need for qualified Mentors grows, as does their need to develop the next generation of Counseling Mentors.

But that’s easier said than done, right?

What is needed is clarity around, and a plan for, mentorship and leadership development. This starts with individuals.

The Mentoring Workshop Can Help

·This 24-month, one day a week, two hour per week workshop, you will receive steps for, and guidance in, creating more than a Mentor Business, but a Mentorship Development Pipeline

· You will be part of a group culture focused on support, growth, and competence.

· The Program’s success comes from an active engagement in small steps and “Fly efforts”

· With this mentoring training program, you will grow in assuredness and have more self-awareness

Your Organization will grow through well trained, knowledgeable, and talented Mentors in the areas of counseling, leadership, and business.

· Make a commitment to take your place alongside this select group of individuals – representing mentorship at its best

Program Design

Weekly

One Day per week, Two hours per week in activities such as:

· Watching course materials video’s

· Participating in Q&As

· Engaging in learning exercises and practices

· Prepping for research and reading materials.

· Weekly homework assignments and once per month book and peer review.

Small Groups

Designated learning modules:

· Learn and grow through participating in small focus groups

Usually comprised of under 8 participants

· Work with self-reflection and honest feedback

· A chance to connect deeply with other people and form lifelong friendships

On-Line Learning

Imersive sessions were participants interact deeply with presented material, workshop members, and the instructor in online conversations.

· Online Learning

o Online video and audio training modules presented by a live class facilitator

o Participants are exposed to a rich archive of leading-edge ideas, practices, and methodology

The Program Provides Opportunity for Inner mastery through the repeated practice of new skills

· Through homework assingments and research this workshop goes beyond mere “talk“ about transformation

· These practices are based on high-performing, consciousness-raising teachers and businesses professionals

· Participants learn from great thinkers, but also construct and design their own mentoring style

Group Rules

[For Class, Workshop, or Events]

1) Be Courteous

· Everyone participates in creating a welcoming environment.

· Treating everyone with respect is a prime requirement.

· Healthy debates are natural and encouraged, but kindness is required.

2) No Promotions or Spam

· Self-promotion, spam, and irrelevant links aren't allowed.

· People's personal data is not to be shared without their permission.

· Some content, such as the group’s posts, communications, comments, etc. will be managed by the group’s administrative personnel.

· Give more to this group than you take.

3) Respect Everyone's Privacy

· Being part of this group requires mutual trust.

· Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but comments may be sensitive and are to be treated as private.

· What's shared in the group should stay in the group.

4) No Recordings Summary

· The purpose of this policy is to set forth expectations regarding the recording of classes, meetings, or other conversations in the online classroom, offsite at organized events, and over the phone between members of the workshop community.

· The intent of this policy is to strike a balance between the legitimate uses of audio and visual recordings, and concerns including compliance with the law, privacy, and protection of intellectual property.

· This policy attempts to promote the freedom to share ideas and to respect the privacy of the community members.

o The secret recording of meetings or other conversations is prohibited.

o Classes may be audio-recorded by the instructor/facilitator, or by a student in the class with the prior consent of only the Instructor.

o Video recordings require special handling and consent under this policy.

§ Video recordings are only allowed under conditions completely understood and approved in advance in writing by the facilitator.

§ All participants in a class, workshop, or educational activity must be informed of any video recording, in advance.

§ Video recordings shall not be publicly shared or shared with anyone outside the workshop membership.

§ Sharing recordings on the internet or in public viewings, without the written consent of the Instructor/facilitator and others being recorded is forbidden.

How Do I Apply?

It’s easy—simply follow these three steps:

1) Submit your email request to enroll to Workshop Administrator Dr.Sue Beck, H.W.,M. - sbeckphd@aol.com

· You’ll receive notice of the application’s disposition within two weeks of submission.*

2) Class Admittance of an accepted application is by email, with the Zoom entrance code granted for the first available workshop session following receipt of class payment.

· Attendee may take advantage of a special price for the - advanced full payment- of the 2-year program.

· Merit-Based Scholarships Available

o Two merit-based scholarships are available for each workshop term.

o An applicant may apply for one of these scholarships based on “Financial Need”

§ Such need is based on the financial hardship to be determined at the sole discretion of the instructor.

3) Workshop participants will need:

· Access to a computer, tablet, or phone that is able to transmit and receive Zoom meetings

· A supply of paper and pens to take notes

· Access to and email capable device to transmit and receive reports and homework
